EDMOND, Okla. — Four people are in the hospital after an explosion at a Tuboscope, a company that manufactures oil field equipment, just after 9 a.m. Edmond fire crews are investigating what may have caused this blast on Kelly between 33rd St. and Memorial Rd.

Authorities say it may have been started by Kerosene that was left too close to a space heater but they cannot confirm the cause at this time.

One man was transported to the hospital with third-degree burns.

Three others are being treated for first-degree burns.

Their ages range from 28 to 56 years of age.

Tuboscope has not commented on the accident.
