CUSHING, Okla.-A one-year-old toddler from Perkins and a teenager from Bristow are the only survivors of a horrific car accident Friday evening.

Authorities were called to the intersection of Highway 33 and Highway 99 in Payne County Friday evening.

Investigators say 26-year-old Jennifer Schad was driving northbound on Highway 99 when she failed to yield for oncoming traffic.

Her vehicle was hit by a pickup truck.

Both Schad and her husband, Matthew, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their one-year-old daughter was taken to the hospital for observation.
