Experience life in the Middle Ages with the Knights of the Round Table. Bring the family to Norman for the Annual Medieval Fair at Reaves Park. Friday through Sunday journey through time with kings, queens, jousting tournaments, human chess games and costume contests. Kids will also enjoy jugglers, magicians and minstrels. Admission is free for everyone.
Easter Eggs Hunts
It’s almost time for the Easter Bunny. If you want to get an early start collecting those eggs, you can catch Peter Cottontail in Mustang and this weekend at the Mustang Eggstravaganza and Easter egg hunt. Saturday at 9 a.m. the whole family can enjoy inflatables, face painting, a tiger safari and of course the egg hunts all for free.
If you four-legged friends want to get in on the Easter action, bring them to the Edmond Dog Park for the Hound Hunt Sunday. Starting at 2 p.m., dogs of all kinds can sniff out the eggs filled with treats and prizes. Entry is free.
Kid’s Meditation Class
Looking for something to calm the kids after all the excitement and sugar? How about some meditation? Your little ones can find their inner wisdom with a free kid’s meditation class Saturday at 11 a.m. They will also participate in nature activities and games at the Buddha Mind Monastery in the Chung Tai Zen Center in Oklahoma City.
