If severe weather develops in the metro, these shelters will be open to the public.

Metro Public Tornado Shelters:

Bethany

- Bethany First Church of Nazarene

Del City

- City Hall

Midwest City:

- Reed Center
– Fire Station 5 Basement
– City Hall

Norman:

- Cleveland Elementary
– Irving Rec. Center
– St. Stephens United Methodist Church - 1801 W. Brooks – Only for those whose homes have been damaged in storms.

Warr Acres:

- City Hall (Access from storm doors on north side)
– Cherokee Hills Park
– Grandma’s Park
