Moore house catches fire…again
MOORE, Okla. — A fire consumed a home on the 1500 block of Soutminster in Moore Wednesday evening.
Officials say the owner was home at the time but was not injured.
Dozens of neighbors watched as firefighters worked to put out the blaze.
Many told News Channel 4 this wasn’t a rare occurrence.
“He’s (the homeowner) had about 10 fires in the past year and this is just really scary for us because you don’t know if the next one is going to get to your home. The last one was just two weeks ago in his garage,” neighbor Elizabeth Owens said.
Officials confirmed there have been fires at the residence before but did not say how many.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
Despite previous incidents, they are not calling the fire suspicious.
