Elementary school on lock-down after shooting in area

OKLAHOMA CITY — Greenvale Elementary School in N.W. Oklahoma City was on lock-down after two men were shot at an apartment complex nearby.

Police responded to a double shooting at the Heritage Ridge Apartments near N.W. 10th St. and Council Rd. Thursday just before 3 p.m.

Two men were found injured and were taken to the hospital. Both are expected to live.

Authorities said they are searching for suspects in this shooting but don’t have a clear suspect description.
