Bus hits student at rally on UT campus
AUSTIN, Texas. — A Cap Metro Bus hits a pedestrian in a Obama mask on UT Campus.
Authorities say a bus hit a man on the University of Texas campus Friday afternoon.
Austin/Travis County EMS said it happened at around 1 p.m. in the 2200 block of Guadalupe St., next to the Co-op.
Video of the incident shows the man wearing a President Obama mask waving a foam sword at a group of people across the street chanting “OU sucks!” before stepping into the street and getting hit by the bus.
The man was transported to a local hospital where they said his injuries were not serious.
Austin police said the bus driver was cited for running a red light.
