Adley Stump dishes about The Voice
Now that The Voice is finished for the season, Adley Stump is giving us the inside scoop on what it was really like to be on the show.
“America saw me for what, a week, on the show and I was out here for probably two and a half months,” Stump said.
She spoke to KFOR from the Hollywood Hills as she got ready for Tuesday night’s big finale.
She said taping the show was amazing and a wild ride that showed her what it takes to make a TV show.
“The reality of TV is that sometimes reality is bland so, you can’t have millions of dollars riding on a TV show and have it be bland, so sometimes you have to plan for that controversy,” Stump said.
Stump said she’s well aware her exit from the show created some of the flair.
She went head to head with Rae Lynn for Team Blake during the battle round and Adley came out defeated.
“When I got paired against Raylynn, I knew there was a 98-percent chance I was going home, no mater how good I did, no matter what happened, because I knew Blake liked her and liked her a lot,” Stump said.
She said her time on the show was still one of the best memories of her life.
She’s looking forward now to recording more music and continuing to do what she loves, sing.
