Overnight shootings may be related
OKLAHOMA CITY — A woman was abducted, robbed and shot near N.W. 122nd and Council in Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma City police got several calls about someone walking on the Kilpatrick Turnpike trying to flag down drivers.
Police said the woman left a 7-Eleven on N.W. 122nd and Council and was walking east when she was abducted.
The victim says two black men and one woman pulled up, forced her into a car and robbed her, then shot her and left her on the side of the road.
Officers found the injured woman walking along the Kilpatrick.
Meanwhile, several hours before, another woman was almost victimized in the same way in the area of N.W. 122nd and MacArthur.
That victim told police three suspects shot at her while she was driving in her car about 2 a.m. at the Pinehurst Apartments.
She says three men approached, tried to rob her or carjack her and then one of the men fired.
Police said the bullet missed the victim, shattering her car window.
She called 911 from a nearby convenience store.
Police believe these incidents may be related.
