Security gear stolen from man’s home
OKLAHOMA CITY — A security guard said his gun, body armor and a uniform were stolen from his home.
The items were reported missing April 24 from a home on the 2000 block of NW 16th St.
The security guard told police he was allowing someone from his church to stay at his house.
When he returned home, the items were gone and so was his roommate.
The security guard told police that his roommate has a criminal record.
“According to the victim, he told officers that he was well aware that this man he had been let staying with him did have some type of a criminal past. He even went so far as to print out information that he had found on the internet on this man and give it to officers,” OKC Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.
Police are not releasing the name of the roommate.
They want to question him about the case.
