Plane crash kills ORU graduates, former instructor

TULSA,Okla.—Three recent Oral Roberts graduates and a former instructor were killed when their plane went down in southern Kansas Friday evening.

Authorities say 23-year-old Luke Sheets, 29-year-old Garrett Coble and 22-year-old Stephen Luth all died when their twin-engine Cessna crashed about 9 miles west of Chanute, Kan.

Austin Anderson, 27, survived the fiery crash but later died at a Wichita hospital.

The only survivor, 22-year-old Hannah Luce, remains in the hospital.

We’re told the group was on its way to Council Bluffs, Iowa from Jones Airport in Jenks when the plane went down.

The crash is currently under investigation.
