I-40 shutdown for motorcycle crash
OKLAHOMA CITY — An overnight motorcycle crash shut down a section of I-40 near Morgan Road.
Police say, about 1 a.m. a man traveling westbound crashed, laying his bike down in the middle of the road.
They say speed was a factor, and he barely missed the tires of a semi when he crashed the bike.
The semi driver saw the accident with enough time and was able to swerve out of the way.
The semi driver called 911.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries in an ambulance.
Police say, alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
