Female bank robber behind bars
ENID, Okla.– A female bank robber is behind bars in Enid, accused of holding up the First State Bank of Pond Creek.
Enid police say 49-year old Barbara Orf came into the branch Friday wearing sunglasses, some type of hood on her face, latex gloves, rubber boots and a heavy coat.
She was also carrying a black gun, and demanded money.
She fled in a honda with about $5,000.
An observant police officer spotted the vehicle a short time later, and stopped orf after a short pursuit.
They found the stolen cash in her car.
She now faces a list of charges including robbery in the first degree and resisting arrest.
