Put out storm debris on bulky waste collection day

Tree storm damage - Kayla Owens

OKLAHOMA CITY — Tree and brush debris from this week’s storms will be collected on Oklahoma City Utility customer’s regular bulky waste collection day.

Residents will not be charged for tree and brush storm debris in excess of four cubic yards.

Bulky waste collection rules apply: small items need to be contained, no hazardous material accepted, no whole structures or whole trees.

Residents should contact their home owner’s insurance company about removal of roofing, fencing, siding and other property damage.

Citizens can report specific needs for storm debris collections by calling Utilities Customer Service at (405) 297-2833.

Bulky waste collection days can be viewed on the city’s website here.
