OKLAHOMA CITY -- There's no way to understate just how excited fans are for Wednesday's Thunder game.
A win over the Spurs puts them in the NBA Finals.
But the last game's result was enough for one fan to share his love for the Thunder on his office building.
At N.W. 43rd St. and Western Ave., there's a new decoration hanging on the building and it's inspired by the actions of the Thunder's James Harden.
When Harden hit that big three pointer to help the Thunder beat the Spurs in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, Ronnie Ketch, owner of Ketch Design Centre, knew he had no choice but to hang a 20' x 16' James Harden beard on his building.
"We were talking about putting the beard up a few days ago but when he hit that last shot in the last game, it's about Harden, man," he said. "Some people don't understand what it is and it's a five second delay and they look up and go 'It's Harden's beard!'"
Brad Owens owns BDO Construction next door.
"I drove by yesterday and I thought, that's awesome! We've got the beard," he said.
Ketch said Rug and Carpet of Oklahoma gave them the materials, about 100-pound beard's worth.
And he expects copycats.
"It should be the biggest beard right now in the U.S. but we're ready for the challenge. We can make it bigger if we need to," he said.
Ketch invited people to watch the game Wednesday underneath the beard.
He has a big screen TV and refreshments.
More changes are planned for the beard.
He's adding a bigger mohawk and eyes.
