OKLAHOMA CITY — A serious accident Monday night leaves one biker in critical condition.

The wreck closed two streets for almost four hours while authorities investigated and removed the wreckage.

About 9:15 p.m. Tuesday at Northeast 23rd and Coltrane, police say a motorcyclist slammed into the back of a pick-up truck.

The biker was turning left when he hit the pick-up.

The driver of the pick-up was uninjured.

Officers say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.

He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The roads were re-opened about 1 a.m. Tuesday.
