Motorcycle crash, no helmet, critical injuries
OKLAHOMA CITY — A serious accident Monday night leaves one biker in critical condition.
The wreck closed two streets for almost four hours while authorities investigated and removed the wreckage.
About 9:15 p.m. Tuesday at Northeast 23rd and Coltrane, police say a motorcyclist slammed into the back of a pick-up truck.
The biker was turning left when he hit the pick-up.
The driver of the pick-up was uninjured.
Officers say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The roads were re-opened about 1 a.m. Tuesday.
