Okla. fears the beard could be traded
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma City Thunder just finished a stellar season, ending with an appearance in the NBA Finals.
One of those detrimental players, James Harden, also became the symbol of the team’s rise to the top with fans and officials coining the phrase “fear the beard.”
Now that familiar face may be on the chopping block in Thursday night’s NBA Draft.
The Thunder will pick 28 in the first round, unless they trade up and Charlotte is considering offers for the number two pick.
Sports analysts speculate Kentucky freshman Anthony Davis will go as the number one pick to New Orleans.
Experts say that leaves Florida freshman Bradley Beal as the most coveted player.
NBA reporters say the Thunder is very interested in Beal however to score this quality player, they may be forced to trade NBA Sixth Man of the Year, the Beard himself, James Harden, to Charlotte.
