Roof collapses, no injuries
HARRAH, Okla. — Cleanup crews are picking up debris after part of a building collapsed.
The front part of the building, located at 18735 NE 23rd Street, ripped off just before 8 p.m. Thursday.
All four businesses were closed so no one was there at the time.
“The theory we are working on right now is that stress and time combined with heat just caused expansion and just caused that awning to collapse,” said Phil Stewart, Harrah Police.
Investigators say the building appears to be structurally sound.
At least one business plans to be open Friday morning.
