Toddler drowns in local lake

WAURIKA, Okla.—A campout turns deadly after a toddler drowned in the middle of the night.

Authorities say 3-year-old James Traywick Wyler was asleep in a tent near Lake Waurika, when he woke up shortly after midnight Saturday and wandered away from his tent and into the lake.

The little boy’s body was found in about ten inches of water.

He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
