Burglar on loose has residents on high alert
OKLAHOMA CITY — A couple of burglaries on the southwest side of the metro have homeowners on high alert.
Oklahoma City said they can connect two of the burglaries at this point.
They said in both cases stolen credit cards were used around an hour after the break-ins.
What sets these crimes apart is that the residents were home at the time.
One woman awoke to find her front door open and her computer and a number of other things gone from her home.
One victim, Jody Kirtley from Mustang, said the whole thing is unbelievable.
“What amazes me is how bold they were. There were five cars parked outside. They knew there had to be a house full of people,” she said.
Oklahoma City Police have pictures of a young man from a Southwest City business.
They said they would be interested in talking to this person.
Anyone who knows something about these burglaries should call the Oklahoma City Police.
