Man hit by train, killed
NORMAN, Okla. — One man died after being hit by a freight train.
About 10 p.m. Monday night the Norman Police Department was notified by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad dispatcher that a cargo train heading southbound had struck a pedestrian.
The Noble Police Department assisted Norman Police and Fire in locating the victim’s body.
The body was found in a rural area in the 4100 block of Classen Boulevard in Norman.
The incident is being investigated.
