Former Sooner to have another day in court

HOUSTON, Texas — Former sooner star Adrian Peterson had his day in court and, as it turns out, he’ll have another.

Peterson was arrested in Houston last weekend after an incident at a nightclub.

He was to face charges of resisting arrest Friday but his lawyer said the hearing has been rescheduled for next month.

Police said the Minnesota Vikings player shoved an off-duty police officer working security at the club.

A.D. said, “I’m 200 percent innocent.”
