Bat-wielding boyfriend run over
OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City Police spent the morning Thursday piecing together a violent case of domestic abuse.
It unfolded in the 1300 block of Kinkaid Drive, near S.W. 44th St. and Penn. Ave.
Witnesses on the scene report the residents of one of the homes arguing throughout the morning.
A baseball bat and broken tail light are among the evidence being gathered at the scene.
According to police, a woman and her boyfriend were arguing when the boyfriend started to hit the woman.
The police said the girlfriend’s father arrived on the scene to intervene.
Police said the boyfriend attacked the father.
In the course of the argument, the father ran over the boyfriend.
Police believe the father was attempting to leave in a vehicle and did not intentionally run over the boyfriend.
Police arrested the boyfriend, and took him to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
