7-year-old reports two bodies inside apartment

WARNER, Okla.—Authorities in Muskogee County say they discovered the bodies of two people at an apartment complex after receiving a call from a little girl claiming her mother had been shot.

It was around 4:30 a.m. when police say the 7-year-old called them from a neighbor’s house at the Houston Johnson Heights Apartments.

The neighbor went to investigate and found the bodies of a man and a woman inside.

Authorities believe the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself.
