STROUD, Okla. — A second wildfire has sparked not far from the first Stroud blaze.
Fire crews are now working a large wildfire and a second smaller one near Stroud at the Lincoln/Okfuskee/Creek County borders.
So far no residents have been evacuated.
Fire authorities said the fires may have started because of hot spot flare ups from Tuesday night’s fire possibly cause by lightning.
The flames have claimed at least two structures and more than 100 acres so far.
No injuries have been reported.
