Traffic stop leads to $1 million drug bust
Webbers Falls, Okla.—A routine traffic stop led police to a huge drug bust in Muskogee County.
Authorities say 24-year-old Michael Salas was pulled over after being spotted weaving in and out of traffic on I-40.
The officer noticed he seemed nervous and his story did not add up.
The county’s drug dog was brought in during questioning and quickly found 20 pounds of meth in the car’s trunk.
Authorities say the drugs had a street value well over $1 million.
Salas was booked into the Muskogee County Jail on drug trafficking complaints.
He is being held without bond.
