Edmond Police chase suspect vehicle

EDMOND, Okla. — A police chase lands two people in jail early Monday morning.

Edmond Police stopped a vehicle with two occupants on a routine traffic violation.

Police say, initially let the vehicle go.

Then, the officer came upon the same vehicle a second time and decided to stop them again.

However, this time the suspect vehicle, a pick-up truck, did not stop.

Officials say the chase led into Oklahoma City.

Police eventually stopped the pick-up on Broadway Extension near NW 36th Street.

Both the driver and the passenger were arrested.
