Wildfire contained in Norman hay field

NORMAN, Okla. — Fire crews have contained a wildfire reported just before noon Wednesday in an east Norman hay field near 164th St. and Hiwassee Rd.

Norman fire crews as well as Oklahoma City and Little Axe are working this fire.

So far no injuries have been reported and no structures have burned.

The statewide burn ban is still in effect.
