UPDATE: Worker killed in industrial accident downtown

OKLAHOMA CITY — One Sherwood Construction contract worker is dead after an industrial accident downtown Thursday afternoon.

Fire rescue crews responded to the accident near Harkins Theatre by the old Crosstown.

The worker was pinned between a flatbed semi-truck and an excavator.

Authorities said he suffered a heart attack and died at the scene.

The accident happened at S.W. 3rd St. and Compress near E.K. Gaylord.
