County Free Fairs
First, bring the family to a few free fairs. You can catch them in both Oklahoma County and Canadian County Saturday.
In Oklahoma County, check out some good, old fashioned competition as residents try for the titles in cooking, gardening, livestock, wood working and photography.
In the clown alley kids can enter an ice cream sundae making contest, tractor pull, and enjoy face painting and balloon animals.

Canadian County Free Fair
In Canadian County, residents won’t want to miss carnival rides, live entertainment, games and a pie-eating contest.

Head to Blanchard for the 2nd Annual Bluegrass Festival.
Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., enjoy bluegrass bands in Lions Park.

Thanks to the City of Edmond, you can get a new tree, free of charge.
They will come out to put it in your yard and everything.
All you have to do is register on their website before Sept. 15.
They will contact you if are lucky enough to score one of the dozens of free trees they are giving away.
