Suspect on loose after brutal stabbing murder
OKLAHOMA CITY — Police have one suspect in custody and are searching for the other after an Oklahoma City man was brutally stabbed to death overnight.
Aurthur Strozewski, 47, was slashed multiple times and rushed to the hospital where he later died.
It didn’t take long for police to find one suspect, the other is still at large.
Officers spotted 34-year-old Eddie Thompson running from the scene and the K9 Unit quickly caught up to him.
Residents on Winston Way awoke to a crime scene and the tragic death of beloved neighbor Aurthur Strozewski.
Investigators said, just after 3 a.m., two suspects barged into the family’s home and stabbed Strozewski to death.
Neighbors said Strozewski was a loving husband, father of three and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
“We’re a close neighborhood so it’s really affected a lot of people on this block,” neighbor Dustin Baker said.
Barbara Bell has lived on the block for 41 years and said she has never seen anything like this happen.
“When I first walked up the street to see what was going on I was surprised and a little unsettled,” Bell said.
He was the manager at Hibdon Tires and had worked there for 22 years.
