Edmond neighborhood sprayed with obscene graffiti
EDMOND, Okla. — Neighbors in Edmond found some dirty artwork on their cars and houses Thursday morning.
Homeowners in Bay Hill Place near Danforth and Bryant found spray-painted pictures of private parts all over.
Mary Poulain was disgusted.
“Yeah, I saw a pretty vulgar picture on the garage,” she said. “The initial reaction was, Oh really? Somebody has enough spare time to mess around and do something like this?”
Homeowner Mehwish Siddaqui said there were a lot of homes affected.
“As you can see there have been 15 houses and everyone is kind of worried and trying to remove the stuff off the garages,” she said.
Edmond Police said there are actually more than 20 people who have filed police reports.
Edmond Police Spokeswoman Jenny Monroe said they are now working to find the culprits.
“Given the nature and the material of what’s spray-painted on the doors, we can take a good guess of the age range we are looking at,” she said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Edmond Police Department.
