Shooting wounds man at Edmond motel
EDMOND, Okla. — Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the 1800 block of East 2nd Street in Edmond.
It happened about 2 a.m. at the Stafford Inn Motel.
When officers arrived they found one man with a gunshot wound to his hand.
He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injury.
Officers say the man had been in an argument with a woman at the motel.
The fight escalated and that’s when police say the woman started shooting.
The woman ran from the scene.
Police have not made any arrests.
