Police fire on armed teen, miss
OKLAHOMA CITY — An Oklahoma City police officer fired on a teenager who they say fired first.
About 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning police responded to a domestic call in the area of SW 15th and Pettee, near SW 15th and Penn.
A fight erupted between a mother and her 14-year-old son.
When police arrived the 14-year-old was standing on the porch when they say he fired shots at an officer.
The bullets missed the officer, and the officer returned fire.
The officer’s shots also missed.
The suspects fled the scene and was taken into custody a short time later in a nearby field.
He will face charges for shooting at an officer with intent to kill.
