Wine shop burglarized twice in one night
OKLAHOMA CITY — Carolyn Qamoos and her husband have it all on tape, a series of burglaries to their Northpark Mall Wine and Spirits shop.
The crimes started just after midnight Sunday.
“Somebody had busted out the glass and they had come into the store and stole some items. They came through the front door,” Carolyn said.
Surveillance video showed the pair, a man wearing black athletic pants and a black long-sleeved top.
Carolyn said the man stole scotch from their business.
The owners cleaned up the damage and boarded up the front door but the break-ins were not over.
The second time at 3:25 a.m. and it involved two people.
The camera caught the second man once again, only this time, he’d removed his shirt.
Both crimes did about $800 in damage.
“He knew exactly what he was going for; he knew where things were. I feel like he had been in the store before,” Carolyn said.
Now she hopes someone recognizes the man and calls police.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers.
