Lockdown lifted: OKC elementary secured after shooting at nearby apartments
OKLAHOMA CITY — Police said the lockdown at a southeast Oklahoma City elementary school has been lifted.
Highland Park Elementary near S.E. 59th St. and S. Sunnylane Rd. is no longer on lockdown after a reported shooting at apartments nearby.
Authorities at Highland Park said they secured the school just before 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said they are looking for two suspects in the shooting at the Village Garden Apartments near S.E. 54th St. and S. Sunnylane Rd.
No injuries have been reported.
