Classes resume at Stillwater Junior High School
STILLWATER, Okla. — Classes resume at Stillwater Junior High School one day after an eighth grader took his own life on the school property.
Students are heading back to school Thursday after classes were cancelled Wednesday.
The community has a heavy heart following the suicide of 8th grader Cade Poulos.
Poulos, fired a fatal shot in front of other students in a common area on campus, as students were heading into class 7:50 a.m. Wednesday.
The community hosted a prayer vigil last night to honor Cade and the Poulos family.
Some were quick to speculate bullying may have been involved.
However, the district superintendent says there is no record of any incidents of bullying involving Poulos.
There will be councilors on campus to help the students through the grieving process.
