OKLAHOMA CITY -- Stormy weather Wednesday night brought much needed rain to the Oklahoma City area and flooded streets.

The problem spots around town are:

  • May & NW 50th
  • Northwest Expressway & Classen
  • Kilpatrick Turnpike
  • NW 36th & Hammond

Police set up barricades in some areas.

But, as usual, some drivers ignored the warnings and ended up getting stuck.

It takes just one foot of water to stall your vehicle.

Rain is in the forecast for the next few days.
