Live high on hog to bring home bacon
Remember those reports last week about a pending bacon shortage?
Well, that’s a bunch of bologna.
The American Farm Bureau and National Pork producers said there is no threat of a wide-spread pork shortage related to the nation’s drought.
However, you can expect to pay more for your bacon in the coming months because the cost of hog feed is higher due to the drought.
The drought put corn prices at record highs which means the cost of most foods will go up and that’s no bull.
