Brooks’ thunder rolls for last time in Vegas
LAS VEGAS — Country singer Garth Brooks is calling it quits on the Vegas strip.
The Oklahoman’s three-year run at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel and casino will wrap up at the end of this month.
The Wynn Las Vegas said the six remaining dates for his Las Vegas show through Nov. 17 will be his last with the property.
The singer’s show had been wildly popular and deemed “the best thing on any Vegas stage show ever” by Las Vegas weekly.
No confirmed word on why he’s leaving Vegas but The Wynn said Brooks plans to film a one-man show next summer that will possibly be used for a network special.
The remaining Garth Brooks dates are Oct. 5, 6, 26 and 27, and Nov. 16-17.
Tickets for the remaining four shows are priced at $225 each.
