Football fans celebrate cooler weather

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Cooler weather will be moving through the metro this weekend.

The temperature will dip into the 30s and 40s Saturday and Sunday.

One Oklahoman said, "Tonight (Thursday) is wonderful. We are going to celebrate no rain and a little nip in the air."

Some people were outside enjoying the weather Thursday night.

High school football fans packed the bleachers for the Edmond North vs. Yukon game.

Many of them were bundled up in sweaters and jackets.

"It gets chilly and chillier as the night goes on," Georgia Rembert said.

The temperature dropped into the 50s Thursday night.

One fan said it was “perfect football weather."
