Kylee well represents Timberlake as an athlete, a student, and as a respected leader for the student body of Timberlake Public School. Kylee excels in all of her athletic endeavors. She is a starter on the basketball team, usually high person in the statistical areas, and gives forth 100% in her participation and attitude.

She was on the Cherokee Strip Conference “All-Tournament ” team, and was a strong influence in the girl’s team playing in the state tournament. Kilee also excels in track. She has won numerous medals in running events and the high jump at local, regional, conference, and the state meet. Kylee had a strong influence in the Timberlake High School girl’s winning First Runner-Up at the state track meet this year in Class 1A.

Kylee also participates in softball and would participate in any other sport if Timberlake would offer it. Kylee also excels in the classroom. She is a 4.0 student, and is a member of National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society. She is able to maintain her classroom work and her extra-curricular activities and still enroll in a concurrent college class through SWOSU. Kylee is very well respected among her peers and the staff at Timberlake High School.

She is very courteous and maintains high standards as she works towards her goals. She is a very active member in our FCCLA program and our yearbook program. This past school year, Kylee and two other FCCLA students used the death of a former classmate (she lost her life in the Piedmont tornado) to develop and present a program through FCCLA called Life Planning Event.

They developed a scholarship program in which the money that would be raised from their program would be given as scholarships in the name of their former classmate. They won first at state and gold at nationals with this event.

Kylee is a wonderful example of education at work. Without any reservations, I believe Kylee Severin deserves the honor of being High School Senior Athlete of the Week.
