Family remembers OSU student
PLANO, Texas — Family and friends of 22-year-old OSU student David W. Brumfield are mourning their loss while talking about their loved one’s life.
According to the university, the junior was majoring in animal science.
Authorities said they do not suspect foul play after the students roommate found him unresponsive in their apartment.
The medical examiner is still working to determine how Brumfield died.
Brumfield is a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity but did not live in the fraternity house.
OSU spokesman Gary Shutt said they don’t believe alcohol was involved in the student’s death.
Services for Brumfield are scheduled in Plano Sunday.
Bus transportation to Plane is available for friends and fraternity brothers.
