Driver crashes into crash scene on I-35
MOORE, Okla. — Police raced to an accident that shutdown southbound traffic on I-35 about an hour early Thursday morning.
Police say a vehicle was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when the driver hit another vehicle head on.
The driver of the victim car was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be cut out.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police were investigating that crash when a third driver crashed into one of the police vehicles on the scene.
Police say a woman driving a PT Cruiser slammed into the back of a police cruiser.
She was taken to the hospital with a broken leg.
The officer was not hurt.
Police are looking into the possibility alcohol may have played a role.
