Deadly shooting, suspect on the loose

OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City Police are searching for the gunman in a late-night shooting that left one man dead.

It happened in the 2700 block of North Meridian about 11:30 p.m. Monday night.

A woman called 911 and reported shots fired in the area.

The caller also said a man had been seen stumbling and then collapsed in the parking lot.

When officers arrived they found a victim bleeding and barely alive in the parking lot of the Brittany Apartments.

Detectives say they did find a pick-up truck with a bullet hole in it east of the shooting location.
