Employees tied up in fast food robbery
OKLAHOMA CITY – Police said an armed robbery at the City Bites on N.W. 21st St. and Classen Blvd. Tuesday night left two employees tied up in a back room.
“They did the right thing; they complied with the demands of the gunman and they lived to tell the story,” OKC Police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.
The victims said a man and woman demanded cash from the register.
Police won’t say how much money they stole.
“Well, it’s a fast food place, somewhat, and that’s what makes it a target, because fast food places typically have cash on them,” Knight said.
Police also said an employee or ex-employee might have been involved in this crime.
Victims told investigators the female suspect seemed to know a lot about the lights in the store.
