TU athletic director on leave after gambling allegations
University of Tulsa Athletic Director Ross Parmley
TULSA, Okla. – University of Tulsa athletic director Ross Parmley has been placed on administrative leave after gambling allegations surfaced.
The university announced they put Parmley on leave Tuesday afternoon.
Executive Vice President Kevan Buck will serve ad interim athletic director.
According to our Tulsa sister station KJRH, Buck managed day-to-day presidential operations at TU after the university fired its president Geoffrey Orsak in September after less than three months into the job.
Parmley became director in January after working as interim director for three months.
TU’s website states that Parmley served in the interim capacity starting in October after Bubba Cunningham left TU to become the athletics director at the University of North Carolina.
