Holiday train stops in OKC for military families
OKLAHOMA CITY—The BNSF Railroad made a few dreams come true for some military families this weekend.
Each year, the railway company picks a couple of places along their route to treat military members and their families to a special train ride.
This year, families in Oklahoma City boarded a vintage passenger’s car decked out for the holidays for a one hour trip around the city.
Santa even made a special appearance during the journey.
BNSF also donated $10,000 to the Oklahoma National Guard Soldier Support Fund and the Camp Gruber Training Site Chapel.
