Sody Gentry; Field Hockey Goalie

Sody Gentry is this week’s David Stanley Chevrolet High School Senior Athlete of the week. Sody has been a 4 year Letterman in field hockey. This year, she is the only senior on the team. She plays goalie and does a great job of directing the back field.

In addition to field hockey, she will also play on the varsity soccer team for the forth year. She maintains a high grade point average in spite of a rigorous course load and many days away from school traveling with field hockey. She is president of the pep club, senior editor for the yearbook and is a tutor for younger children. In addition, she is a greeter for the 1st-4th grade children at church and volunteers for many other activities.
