Low prices make Christmas bright at gas pump
OKLAHOMA CITY – Christmas is looking bright, at least at the gas pump.
According to AAA we’re enjoying the lowest gas prices since February of 2011.
Our prices are currently 9-cents per gallon lower than just one week ago.
Some of the factors in that drop are the switch to winter-blend fuels which are less expensive to produce.
Other factors are cheaper crude oil prices and lower demand.
The average price of gas in Oklahoma City Tuesday is $2.95 per gallon.
Tulsa is even lower at $2.89.
